neglect their own healthcare due to financial difficulties.

Physical and spatial safety are concerns due to the loved-one being left at home while the caregiver
is away.
Wellness and Self-Care
Caregivers have less time for themselves or other family members. They have sacrificed the things
they enjoy or have trouble balancing work schedules around caregiving. Caregivers may not have time
to exercise, eat properly or get enough sleep. This can cause physical strain, illness, and
exhaustion. This also includes taking care of your emotional health such as feeling stressed or
depressed and/or having challenging emotions about caregiving. In addition, caregivers who may not
feel supported.
Time & Responsibilities Management
With only so many hours in a day, caregivers struggle to manage their time as they most likely have
other responsibilities like work or a family to care for. This includes doing your best to balance
caregiving and work responsibilities and/or having a supportive family. It is important for
caregivers to have the information they need as this can be calming when things are hard.
